Belle Buchanan-Smith

At the NHM, I manage the overall Urban Nature Project finances, working with budget holders, funders and internal and external stakeholders. The project spans the capital transformation of the grounds into an exhibition, learning and accessible biodiverse green space in central London, and the wider project activities of local and national engagement with scientists, schools and communities designed to encourage understanding and the study of biodiversity in the Urban setting. I also act as the finance liaison for the wider Engagement team at the Museum. Prior to working at the NHM I was in private practice as a management accountant for 12 years with a range of clients in the corporate and charity sectors. I joined NatSCA as Treasurer in 2022 and look forward to getting to know you.
